- Do you have any information on harvesting orris root for potpourri?
- Dig some of the orris root plant up leaving some to continue growing.
Grate the rhizome/root and place on a dehydrator tray and dry overnight.
Store in an airtight container.
The scent of orris root improves after a year in storage getting better each year for up to 5years.
