Hawthorn Berry is used for heart disease and circulatory disorders, such as high and low blood pressure (it has a normalizing effect), angina, and coronary artery disease, reducing degeneration of the blood vessels. Long-term use is recommended.

One unique characteristic of Hawthorn Berries is their tendency to develop a white film on the outer skin. This is a natural occurrence, indicating the maturation of sucrose in the berry, and should not be mistaken for mould.

Hawthorn Berry Tincture

I haven’t made a tincture as yet until I can afford the good Brandy I wish to use with the Hawthorn Berries. I’m sure it will be beautiful and can’t wait till I make it. I will be using it for blood vessels etc.

Beautiful and Delicious

Lovely organic berries smell fresh and strong. I brew with hibiscus a really strong infusion and leave on my wood stove for up to three days and so pink tangy and nice. Satisfying. Forget about I’m drinking this because it’s good for you. Delicious hot or cold.
