Breathe life into your soils and create a thriving ecosystem in your backyard.
Mother Nature knows best. Her recipe for abundance is tried and tested, all we need do is observe her laws, and recreate them as closely as possible. See your garden as a natural system. What elements are missing? What allies do you have in the natural world that will assist in your objective, and what are their specific needs by way of habitat, shelter and sustenance? How can you encourage and support their existence in your garden?

Building soil health and structure is key to producing healthy, pest resistant, nutritional herbs and vegetables. Learn how to turn excess household and garden waste into nutrient-rich Hot Compost and liquid fertiliser for your herbs. We will discuss soil PH, mulching, organic pest control and explore the roles beneficial insects play in the garden and how to encourage their presence through plant selection and creating habitat.


Saturday 1st September 2018 The class runs for 4 hours from 9.30am to 1.30pm, with morning tea at 11-11.30am. Try to arrive 10minutes prior to have a cuppa and settle in.


$67 this includes a booklet of information including recipes, as well as a herby morning tea.

What to bring

a hat and closed in shoes as we will be spending some time in the garden.
