Astragalus root powder is a modern, easy-to-use form of a traditional vitality tonic. Known for supporting immune function, energy, and resilience, it’s often added to smoothies, juices, or warm drinks as a preventative tonic or seasonal support blend.
- Traditionally used to strengthen immunity and increase energy and stamina
- Gentle adaptogen to support resilience during stress, illness recovery, or seasonal changes
- May assist with blood sugar balance, heart health, and inflammation
- Includes polysaccharides, flavonoids, and saponins with antioxidant and immune-modulating properties
- Mild tasting and suitable for long-term use as a tonic herb
Powder: Stir 1–2 tsp daily into smoothies, juice, or warm water. May also be mixed into yoghurt, porridge, or added to greens powder blends.
Adaptogen latte: Blend with reishi, maca, or cinnamon and milk for a gentle tonic drink.
Capsules: For convenience, take in capsule form as part of a daily tonic routine (usually 2–4 capsules/day).
Stacking: Often paired with elderberry, echinacea, medicinal mushrooms, or other adaptogens for seasonal or immune support blends.
Use periodically: Some customers use it seasonally (e.g. in autumn/winter) or once a year as a recharge tonic.
Astragalus powder is a practical format for regular use — no simmering required. Customers often add it to their smoothies or coffees to support immune health and mood, especially in colder months. While it’s best taken long term, some people use it as a once-a-year tonic or in cycles. May not be suitable during active infections or for those on immune-suppressive medications — speak to a practitioner if unsure.
Our powder is made from the dried root of Astragalus membranaceus, tested and milled for ease of use. Mild, sweet flavour makes it an easy daily addition.
