We have a position available in our dried herb room for someone to help keep our packing and fulfilment running smoothly. This is a hands-on, physical role that suits someone who is steady, focused, and reliable.

Pay Rate (casual): $31.19 per hour during training period (up to 4 weeks). From $32.00 per hour after training, with higher rates available based on skills and performance.

Schedule (31 hours per week):

What you’ll be doing:

• Picking, packing, and posting customer orders
• Packing down bulk herbs into retail/sale sizes
• Printing and applying labels to bags, jars, and containers
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and food-safe workspace
• Inventory management in the dried herb room (restocking shelves, counting stock levels)
• Receiving bulk herb deliveries and checking them off
• Notifying the team when items need to be reordered

What we’re looking for:

• Available Monday to Thursday for the hours listed above
• Comfortable with physical work – lifting, standing, repetitive tasks
• Able to work safely around shelving and use step stools when needed
• Follows instructions carefully and pays close attention to detail
• Works at a steady pace and can stay focused on repetitive tasks
• Calm, respectful, and low-drama – we work closely together and rely on each other
• Comfortable using basic tech/apps (we use internal systems for orders and labels)
• An interest in herbs is a plus
• Previous experience in a warehouse, nursery, production packing, or similar is helpful but not essential

We’re looking for someone to join our team on Mondays to help prepare herb plants for orders and pack online orders. This is a hands-on role based in the plant dispatch area.

• Comfortable with physical work – lifting, standing, repetitive tasks
• Able to follow instructions carefully with strong attention to detail
• Calm, respectful and low-drama – we work closely together and rely on each other
• Experience in a warehouse, nursery, production packing or similar is helpful but not essential

Additional short-term work (optional):

We also have a Wednesday opening for five weeks from 7 January to 4 February while one of our staff is away. This work includes making up herb tea blends, packing dried herbs, and general production tasks. This is optional and can be offered to the successful applicant if they’re available.
