Our Nursery
A love of herbs led us to start selling herbs at the local markets in South East Queensland.
After enjoying the atmosphere and information that was shared on an open weekend at a Herb Farm in Bundaberg, we were inspired to open our Herb Nursery to the public.
We started out simply by recycling timber pallets for benches to hold the herbs we had for sale. We encouraged people to wander around our herb gardens to see how the herbs grew. As our collection grew we added more permanent benches to make the experience better for our customers.
Informative herb classes followed and we opened up for group bookings and had a yearly Garden Party.
Fast forward to today, we no longer attend markets as our online business has grown so much. Our nursery is still open to the public on Mondays and Tuesdays and we have an Open weekend once a month with free herb tea tasting.

Mudbrick Herb Cottage is 5 minutes from Mudgeeraba, located in the picturesque hinterland of South East Queensland. During our open weekend, you can visit to get ideas for your own garden or take in the sights and sounds of nature with a cup of fresh herb tea. Everything that we sell online is also available here to take home. As well as a range of fruit trees, potting mix and mulches.
