The roots and rhizomes are used internally to stimulate a weak digestion, relieving indigestion and wind. Gentian Root improves digestion increasing nutrient absorption. Gentian also stimulates the liver and gall bladder.

Other Uses

Used commercially to flavour liqueurs and Angostura bitters.

Not a bad product. Only have one tiny complaint. Wish they came in resealable bags. I had to hunt around for jars to put all the herbs I ordered, such a hassle. That be the only reason I won't buy bulk from them, but that just me.
