Knotgrass (Polygonum aviculare) is a gentle, mineral-rich herb that has been used in European herbal medicine for centuries. Not to be confused with Japanese knotweed (Reynoutria japonica), which is a different, much larger invasive plant. Knotgrass is a small, low-growing plant commonly found along paths and in disturbed ground.
