Our Tranquillity Smudge Stick brings together two cleansing herbs: white sage and Australian native aniseed myrtle.

White sage has been used for centuries in cleansing rituals to clear a space and settle the atmosphere. Aniseed myrtle, native to the rainforests of northern New South Wales, adds a fresh, sweet, gently aniseed aroma that makes this one of our more distinctive blends.

Grown using organic practices and hand bound into a slow burning bundle, this smudge stick is made to refresh your space and set a calm tone for meditation, yoga or quiet time at home.

About smudge sticks

Smudging is a simple, time honoured way to cleanse and refresh the air in your home. Made from bundles of dried herbs, smudge sticks have been used across many cultures to clear a space and mark a fresh start.

The herbs in our smudge sticks are Australian grown using organic practices.

How to use

Hold the bundle at the wrapped end. Using a candle, gently light the tip until it catches, then blow out the flame so the end is smouldering and giving off smoke.

Keep an ash dish beneath the stick. Gently waft the smoke around the areas of your home you would like to cleanse. When you are finished, press the lit end into sand or a heatproof bowl to snuff it out, and store it for next time.
