This perennial basil is believed to be a cross of Ocimum basilicum and Ocimum kilimanscharicum.
Hardy bushy basil loved by bees. Can be used much the same as sweet basil but you need less as it has a very strong flavour. A companion plant to tomatoes and other vegetables. Also great to grow near your fruit trees.
Growing Conditions
The leaves of perennial basil can be used fresh or dried for a wide variety of culinary purposes, such as in pesto, salads, or sauces. Perennial basil adds beauty to any garden and its wonderful aroma is sure to bring joy and comfort to your outdoor spaces.
