Aibika also goes by the names Queensland Green, hibiscus manihot, hibiscus spinach, bele, pele, tororo aoi and others.

The large leaves can be used like spinach, cooked or eaten fresh.

Prefers a sunny position with fertile soil. Protect from frost.
