Botanical Name: Abelmoschus manihot

Aibika also goes by the names Queensland Green, hibiscus manihot, hibiscus spinach, bele, pele, tororo aoi and others.

The large leaves can be used like spinach, cooked or eaten fresh.

Prefers a sunny position with fertile soil. Protect from frost.

Rated 5 out of 5. Aibika is a tough one.. The plant arrived in mint condition after a long spell with the postal service. Even though I accidentally broke off the largest park of the plant, with one leaf left the aibika has recovered beautifully and is now larger than all the other babies I bought. Very happy with it.
