Lions mane mushroom powder (Hericium erinaceus) is a certified organic medicinal mushroom traditionally used to support cognitive function and nervous system health. This fine powder is made from whole fruiting bodies, providing a concentrated source of the bioactive compounds that have made lions mane mushroom one of the most researched functional mushrooms available.

Mushroom blend: Combine with Reishi Mushroom Powder for immune support, or with Ashwagandha Powder for a calming adaptogenic blend. Add Maca Powder for an energising morning drink.

Lions mane gets its common name from the shaggy, cascading spines that resemble a lion's mane. In the wild, it grows on hardwood trees and can reach impressive sizes.

This mushroom has a long history of use in traditional East Asian herbalism, where it is known as hou tou gu. Buddhist monks were said to use it as a tea to enhance concentration during meditation.

I don't usually have my breakfast straight away as I go surfing first. I find that I have enough energy to last me for hours in the water. I am glad that I live in Mudgeeraba. I had read a lot about the benefits of Lions Mane Mushroom and decided to give it a go after finding it available at Mudbrick.We add half a teaspoon each morning into our morning Matcha/cacao drink and there is no mushroom-y flavour, just an added creaminess to the drink.The powder is a good way of getting the product into our diets, whether it is helping yet remains to be seen but it’s certainly not hurting. I've tried this from now two separate suppliers. The taste definitely identifies it as correct. This one is a very fine powder, the other had a more crystalline texture - interesting. I have no complaints about the service from Mudbrick Cottage and would deal with them again.

OMG!!

I really didn't believe the hype about Lion's Mane Mushroom but the onset of menopause had me searching for everyday words and wondering why I was standing in the garage...what was I looking for again?Now..3 weeks after starting to take a half teaspoon of Lion's Mane Mushroom powder in my afternoon Decaf sachet coffee....and I'm cracking out 2 or three of the "very hard" crosswords everyday and at work I just sorted through 4 years of data without feeling lost or overwhelmed AND it all made sense!!!It should be renamed "Lion's Roar" powder!!!
