I have ordered herbs from herb cottage a couple of times now but not any spices. This time I ordered ginger powder and was not disappointed. It smells divine and is extremely fresh in its sealable pouch. I have used it in cooking quite a few times now and am very happy with the flavour it has added. The dried ginger powder certainly seems fresher than my usual ginger from local health food shop. Very warm and intense ginger flavour. Beautiful for the tinctures I’m currently making and enough for a lovely honey and ginger cake too!
