We have put together 4 easy-to-grow salad herbs. These are suitable for replacing lettuce in your salad bowl and adding some nutritious greens to soups, stews and stir-fries. Your friends and family will be amazed that a salad that is so fresh and tasty was grown and made by you!

The herbs in the pack can be grown in the garden or in pots on your balcony.

1. Sambung is a vigorously growing perennial that provides plenty of leaf with a delicate flavour. This is one to use liberally in the salad bowl or as a spinach substitute.
2. Mushroom plant is another perennial. Its crunchy nutritious leaves are available all year. Great in salads or on sandwiches and wraps.
3. Salad burnet has a nutty cucumber flavour perfect for salads. The leaflets can easily be removed from the leaf stem by simply running your finger along them.
4. Nasturtium adds colour and flavour to a salad. The peppery leaves also make great wraps.
