A smooth, grassy organic green tea (Camellia sinensis) made in the sencha style, where the leaf is steamed rather than roasted to keep its fresh green character. Certified organic and gently energising, it makes an easy everyday green tea, hot or iced.

- Naturally rich in antioxidants: unoxidised green leaf keeps more of the plant's natural polyphenols.
- Brews twice: good sencha gives a second steep, so the bag goes further.
Hot: Use 1 teaspoon per cup of water at 75 to 80°C (boil the kettle, then let it sit for a few minutes). Steep for 2 to 3 minutes. Water that is too hot is what makes green tea bitter.
Cold brew: 2 tablespoons per litre of cold water in the fridge overnight makes a smooth, naturally sweet iced green tea.
Make it your own: Add Jasmine Flowers for a jasmine green tea, or brew with Lemongrass and serve over ice.
Sencha is the steamed style of green tea, which locks in the bright green colour and fresh flavour. Matcha is its powdered cousin, made from shade-grown leaves ground to a fine powder.
Green tea is happiest used within a year. Keep it sealed, cool and away from light and it will reward you.
