Thank you, The meadowsweet arrived in good condition and we potted it up and put it on nursery benches in a shade-cloth covered nursery. I believe it has survived the torrential rainfall, and so understand it is suitable for moist places.

I've had my Meadowsweet for a couple of weeks now, it got a little damaged during shipping even though it was well packed and handled with care. I clipped off any dead or damaged bits when I repotted it and watered it in with a good dose of fertiliser. The next day one more delicate branch was snapped off by a curious magpie, and another branch fell prey to the wind shortly after. But I stuck with my now very small Meadowsweet.Tell you what, this little herb didn't give up, where herbs from Bunnings would have given up the ghost, this hardy little fellow has trudged forward and refused to die. I followed all the care instructions given to me and now this little dude is throwing out 6 new stalks.Clearly this herb was raised with love, and is one tough little nut.

Love this herb for any digestive upset. It has a wonderful balancing ability with acids in the stomach. I make it as a tea and sip before bed. I often add marshmallow to the tea as this is a great soother for the digestive tract.

I’ve purchased plants from Mudbrick Cottage many times, most recently a selection including salvias, greater celandine, herb Robert - now going crazy planted in the seat of an old chair - and meadowsweet (filipendula), and I’ve always been very happy with both the service and the quality of the plants.
